About our society members...

"John"

John is one of the founding members of The Pocono Paranormal Research Society, the others being his wife Liza and their colleague Dave. He has been involved in paranormal studies and investigations for a decade now, and has read and educated himself in many aspects of supernatural sciences including, but not limited to, UFOlogy, cryptozoology, lore and legends, astral projection, and of course, the study of ghosts and hauntings. John is the "level-headed" scientist-type with a great sense of humor. Somewhat of a skeptic, he is known for his ability to stay calm in the face of a frightening situation. His largest influences in paranormal studies are Charles Adams III, Silvia Browne, and Hans Holzer.

"Liza"

Liza is the second founding member of the Pocono Paranormal Research Society. She is meticulous with details, and never misses a trick. Quiet and reserved, Liza is not exactly what you would call a "psychic", but very sensitive to paranormal activity and has the ability to channel through different mediums. She suffers from a condition known as S.L.I. which suggests she has a larger-than-normal magnetic field surrounding her. With the brains of a top-notch detective she notices minute details that others usually don't. Liza is very close to nature as well, being an animal lover and herpiculturist. She, like John, is also certified by the American Ghost Hunter's Registry.

"Dave"

Dave is the third founding member of the Society, and an invaluable asset on an investigation. He is an "ideas" man who likes to get to the bottom of things. Dave has sensitivities towards certain types of paranormal activity, giving him a bit of insight where others might simply pass things off. He's a devoted family man and a loyal friend to have. Dave's other interests include hunting and trapping, snowboarding, and comic books.
