St. John's Mausoleum, Bangor, PA

05-29-05

For the longest time through childhood I've heard of this particular mausoleum being haunted. It was what made legends in kids' minds all throughout the area! Even if it yielded nothing, I thought it would be a fun investigation for nostalgia alone. (I grew up in this area.)

First mistake I made was investigating on the weekend before *memorial* day. Sure, it was beautiful out, but everybody and their brother were there to pay tribute. Going unseen was not easy, but we pulled it off.

First thing we did was set the recorder up. As you can see, it's not the most inconspicuous item in the world. No one, (except us of course), had gone into the mausoleum in the time I was recording, which was a relief. We captured about 25 minutes of analog audio that day, which yielded the two clips that can be heard on our E.V.P. page. Nothing ground-shattering, but something nonetheless! We caught one E.V.P. as soon as the recorder was turned on stating "Hi!". The second one was a direct answer to my question, "How many are in here?", to which something replied, "Two".

We walked away capturing some other photos as the recorder did it's recording. After a while, we split as Liza went for the car and I went back to the mausoleum alone to get the recorder. I snapped some quick photos, as can be seen below. Energy orbs were picked up as I snapped shot after shot. I could see the little pinpricks on the photo preview area after snapping, so I followed them around the room through the monitor on the back of the digicam. I got a bunch, some of which are highlighted below.

The Verdict?

There's definitely energy residing there, no doubt. E.V.P. was captured and orbs were apparent in the photos. To deny that something was there would be ignorance. It doesn't appear to be a profound disturbance, but more testing will be done there. This time in the form of digital recording.
